Obituary of Kenneth Corbett
Kenneth Corbett, age 65, of Norvelt, Pa. lost his battle with cancer August 21, 2019 at Latrobe Hospital surrounded by family. He is survived and remembered by his two children, Shanna Corbett and Dane Corbett, his mother Virginia Corbett, his brothers and sisters Bill Corbett, Mickey Ravenscroft, Barb Pecora, Dolle Bortz, Peggy Willis; their many children, his nieces and nephews, along with countless friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Corbett. In his youth, he was fond of playing baseball and continued his appreciation of sports throughout the years by watching the Pirates and Steelers. He was a life member of the Hecla Slovak Sportsmen’s Club, Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department and United Club. He was an avid outdoorsmen, hunter, and fisherman. He greatly enjoyed being in Elk County at camp with friends, walking with his dog, Rocky, and reading in his free time after he retired from a full career with Lucent Technologies as an installer. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME
