Obituary of William Marisette
William J Marisette ,66 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully Wednesday December 4 2019. Born May 5, 1953 in Hudson, New Jersey, Bill was the son of William and Harriet Cehlar Marisette, In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Nathan John Marisette and his step daughter Melissa Marie Scherer. Bill was a member of the Community Church of Hecla. Prior to his retirement he was a painter for Merit Contracting. William received his certificate of retirement from the Armed Forces of the United States of America as a specialist with25 years service in the Army. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years Marie Bungard Marisette. Beloved father to Rebecca Marisette ; grandchildren Anna Marie Fee, David Scherer, Alissa Scherer and great grandchild Waylain Scherer. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A Hoffer funeral home, Norvelt Monday December 9, 2019 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. A prayer service will begim 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by his funeral service 10:00.am.in the Community Church of Hecla with Reverend Dr. Dale L. Porterfield, officiating Interment will follow with military service in Middle Presbyterian Public Cemetery.
