Joseph A. Massena, 55, of Mt. Pleasant Twp. passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home. Born March 19, 1959, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late Alvin and Agnes (Novak) Massena. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonita M. (Magda) Massena. Joe had been employed as a truck driver for Sosko Trucking. He is survived by a stepdaughter Hollie (Patrick) Ziegler and grandchildren Sage and Patrick. Also surviving is a sister Sandra A. (Edward) Baughman and their children Joseph and Amy and mother in law Margaret (Tirdil) Magda of Norvelt. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, 15674 where his funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday with Pastor David L. Greer officiating. Interment to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Calumet.
