Obituary of Kathleen (Downs) Hatcher

Kathleen (Downs) Hatcher, 65, of Mammoth, passed away Monday, May, 4, 2020. Born Jan. 9, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Jeune Downs and Lawrence Lewis. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, James Hatcher; and two sons, Jeremy (Kristen) Hatcher, of Greensburg, and Joshua (Amanda) Hatcher, of Norvelt. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and cousins. She also enjoyed baking cookies, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She served as a Mt. Pleasant school bus driver for 28 years and will always be remembered for her lady locks. She is also survived by two brothers, Lawrence (Nancy) Lewis and David Lewis, all of Mt Pleasant. Kathy was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Jacob, Emma Kate and Mia; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved by all. Funeral arrangements are in the care of JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. She will be laid to rest in Byerly-Freeman Cemetery, Mt Pleasant.
