James A. Misselli, 64, of Norvelt died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long suffering neurological disease. Born January 5, 1950, he was a son of the late Joseph M. Misselli and Mabel L. Misselli (Miller) of Trees Mills. In addition to his parents, he predeceased by his sister-in-law Jane Laffey with whom he loved watching and discussing the Steelers. James is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Ann M. Misselli, a son James A. Misselli Jr., daughters Beth A. Misselli (Matthew Bush), Amy L. (Steven) Delara, his four awesome grandchildren, Issac and Julia Misselli-Bush, Landon and Levi Delara who were the absolute light of his life. Also surviving is a brother Joseph M. Misselli, Jr., nephews James and Joseph Laffey, a number of cousins and his longtime friend John "Punchy" Panichella. Prior to his disability taking over his body, Jim was a machinist and part owner of Kin-Tech Manufacturing. Jim was good hearted and never denied his family and friends anything they needed. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates along with college football. He was a wealth of historical information and enjoyed the many museums in Pittsburgh. Jim absolutely loved going to Ocean City, MD and would sit on the beach for hours watching and listening to the waves. Family and friends will be received 9-11 a.m. Thursday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, 15674 where his memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian Geesaman officiating.
