Dean Allen Zimmerman, 64 of Greensburg passed away June 7, 2021 unexpectedly at home. Born November 8, 1956 the son of Richard ( Dick) and Nancy (Baker) Zimmerman. In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiance and best friend Sherri A. Parry. Dean is also survived by children; Yenise (Neesi) Zimmerman, James Zimmerman and Carrie Kunselman; grandchildren, Christopher Hurst and Ashley, Nicolas Hurst and partner John Cruz, Jaydin, Audra, Ashley, Ava, Alexis; great- grandchildren, Wyatt and Diem; 3 siblings Leslie Safadi and Riad, Mark Zimmerman and Lisa, Carrie Martz, stepchildren; Justin Parry and Andrea, Zachary Parry and Dawn, and several nieces , nephews and cousins. Dean was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, having player Roberto Clemente as his hero . He also enjoyed bowling and Astronomy. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday June 10th. Dean's funeral service will be Friday 1030 a.m with Pastor L. Samuel Scheiderer in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trauger. Entombment to follow in Middle Presbyterian Cemetery. (A public cemetery)
