Obituary of Glenn R Stahl

Glenn R. Stahl Sr., 71, of Bullskin Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 23, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born May 25, 1950, in Somerset, Pa., he was the son of the late Harold and Anna Stahl. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Darlene. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Michael (Deanna) and Glenn Jr. (Loretta). Glenn will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Salina, Mark, Coty, Christopher, Megan and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Hudson and Evie. His beloved dog, Buddy, will miss their walks and beef jerky treats. He served in the Army National Guard for six years until he was honorably discharged in 1976. He then worked as a heavy equipment operator with Adam Eidemiller Contractor Inc. until 1985. He took his career as an electrician of 32 years with Seton Hill University, which took him to retirement in 2017. He was a member of Norvelt Club and Hecla Sportsman Club. Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. His funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Dr. Dale L. Porterfield officiating in the funeral home.
