Dorothy L. Hacker, 99 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday June 25, 2021. Born July 8, 1921 in Trauger PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Shoaf) Hacker. She is preceded in death by her brothers Donald R. Hacker, Attorney in Greensburg and Mount Pleasant and Thomas Hacker, Real Estate Broker from Mt Pleasant and New Stanton. Dorothy loved to travel and spend time with her family. Prior to her retirement she was a Guidance Counselor for the Greater Latrobe High School, and previously a home economics teacher for Hurst High School. She is also survived by her nephews Donald R Hacker Jr. and David A. Hacker of Mt. Pleasant; neice Phyllis A. Gilland of Las Vegas, Nevada and great nephew Dustin R. Hacker of Mt Pleasant. Dorothy is in the care of the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt. Honoring Dorothy's wishes funeral services will be private. Contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to Mt. Pleasant Public Library 120 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant Pa.15666
