Ethel E. (Miscovich) Dawson, 80, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Hempfield Manor in Greensburg. Born July 4, 1934, in Mutual, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha (Garber) Miscovich. She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her brother Robert Miscovich. Ethel is survived by two sons, Curtis Kropar, of Honolulu and Brian Dawson and wife, Heather of Greensburg; and one granddaughter, Briley Dawson. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the JAY A HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. A blessing service will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Florian Catholic Church with the Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Florian Cemetery.
