Edward A. Karinchak, 71, passed away September 30, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 14, 1949, the son of the late Andrew and Julia Karinchak. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Mount Pleasant Township Lions and the United Slovak Club. Ed was a proud lifelong resident of Norvelt, PA and loved his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda; his son, Jason (Cristene), daughter Julie (Josh) and grandchildren Emma and Colt Karinchak; sisters Betty Delynko, Mariann King, Connie Peters and Becky (Mickey) Goodman; sister in law Debi (Kevan) Dugan. He was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew, James and Robert Karinchak and sister, Virginia Detore. At the request of the decedent, there will be no viewing or visitation. A private celebration of Ed's life will be scheduled by his family. The family would like to thank Excela Home Health and Hospice care team especially Christina D. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Mount Pleasant Township Lions Club # 5935 District 14E Box 156 Norvelt, PA 15674.
