Charles H. “Turk” Murray, 83, of Norvelt, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021. He was born June 5, 1938, in Jeannette, to the late Catherine (Bush) and Charles H. Murray. He was a born again Christian, a wonderful husband, uncle and brother. He was a veteran having served in the Army as a PFC for the military police. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores M. Yuhas; and her husband, Charles. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis G. (Graffuis) Murray; his nephew, Chuckie (Robin) Yuhas; his sister-in-law, Joyce G. Brooks, mother of his nephews; Charles L. Brooks and Richard K. Brooks and his niece, Joyce Ann Brooks; a niece, DeAnn Tharp (Marty), of Charlottesville, Va.; and great-nephew, Lee (Kayla) Yuhas. There will be no public visitation as per his wishes. Services and burial in Westmoreland County Memorial Park are private. JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, in charge of arrangements.
