Obituary of Grace Elizabeth Specht

Grace Elizabeth Specht, 88, of Acme, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021. Born Dec. 8, 1933, in Pleasant Unity, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Gladys (Davis) Dreistadt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Specht Jr.; sisters, Elsie Bossart, Donna Dickson and Margie Martelli; brothers, John Dreistadt Richard Dreistadt and Pete Dreistadt; two grandsons, Joseph Specht and Nicholas Specht; and great-granddaughter, Paige Myers. Grace is survived by her children, Dennis (Keri) Specht, Leslie Ann (Ross) Howard, Glenn (Tania) Specht and Melinda (Kenny) Eutsey; sisters, Dorothy Danser and Marcie Novak; sister-in-law, Christine Dreistadt; two special granddaughters, Beth Ann (Bryan) Leeper and Megan (Ron) DiGuglielmo; 18 grandchildren, Bruce (Deana) Eutsey, Emily (Pat) Showman, Amanda (John) Myers, Susan ( Brian) Mizikar, Rachel (Louie) Schmidt, Julie Specht, Riley, Cameron and Tyler Specht, Christie Specht, Heather Specht, Audrey Gray, Michael Specht and Karah Will; 34 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. Grace's funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Scheiderer officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger.
