Loretta "Sandy" Jewell Maida, 65, of Kecksburg, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Born August 31, 1948 in Youngstown, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Fagan. Sandy was the loving wife of 24 years to Peter P. Maida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia "Patty" Babik. She is survived by her husband, Peter, two sons, Dennis M. (Yvonne) Jewell, of Greenville, NC; Brian Jewell of Ft. Myers, FL; two grandsons, Kaleb and Carter Jewell, her husband Peter's children, David (Gina) Maida, Michelle (James) Hager, Peter (Robin) Maida, Dr. Natalie Maida and Thomas McKeon, Ashley Maida; Peter's granddaughter, Vanessa Maida; and a brother, Michael Fagan, of Boreman, OH. All services are private and are in the care of JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt.
