It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our wife, mother and sister, Elaine L. (Malnofsky) Moore, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born Jan. 13, 1968, in Greensburg, PA to the late Lawrence B. and Elaine T. (Ondrizek) Malnofsky. She spent thirteen years as a receptionist at Myers Insurance. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending many hours with her furry friends, dogs Jaycee (deceased) Piper and Delilah. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Theresa Smolka and Betty May Malnofsky. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Robert Moore; a son, Robert J. Moore Jr.; two siblings Karen Harry (Richard), of Alverton and Larry Malnofsky of Mt. Pleasant; three sister-in-laws Maureen, Tammy, Cheryl; a brother-in-law Don; a special nephew Joseph Pyda III of Mt. Pleasant; a well a many other nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, Mar. 16, 2022, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674, where a funeral service will take place at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private. www.HofferFuneralHome.com.
