Obituary of Thomas Nock

Thomas Nock, 80, of Milton, Fla., passed away, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Your Life Memory Care in Pensacola, Fla. He was born Dec. 13, 1941, in Mt. Pleasant, the oldest child of the late John J. and Margaret Kaputa Nock. Tom was a 1959 graduate of Hurst High School in Norvelt, and a 1963 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. After college, he worked as a civilian employee of the Department of Defense at the Naval Air Station in Dahlgren, Va., and at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, in Dayton, Ohio. Tom was a lifelong Pirates and Steelers fan. He is survived by his brother, James, and his wife, Bonnie, of Pensacola, Fla.; his sister, Margaret, of New Milford, Conn.; his brother, John and his wife, Cindy, of Acton, Mass., and his sister, Mary, of Norvelt. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be private and inurnment is being planned for St. Florian Cemetery in Trauger. JAY A.
