Obituary of Paul W Bash

Paul W. Bash, 79, of Norvelt, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 13, 1943, in Latrobe, to the late Paul A. and Evelyn (Ahlborn) Bash. He was a sales representative with 60 years of service for Scott Electric Company of Greensburg. Paul loved farming, making hay, spending time with his family and he was well known for putting Christmas lights up at his home every year. The red and green lights could be seen from a great distance attracting many “lookers”. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Kathleen J. “ Kathy” (Forejt) Bash; two daughters, Diane (Sam) Fontanazza, and Lori (Lew) Stolitca; three grandchildren Matt Nicholson, Jamie (Matt) Keller, and Melissa Giron; one great grandchild Sidney Keller, the light of his life; a sister Isabel (Ed) Matsko, and be a brother Charlie (Tracy) Bash. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29,2022,in Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674. Paul's funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, in the funeral home with, Pastor David L. Greer officiating.
