Ronald William Barnhart "Barney", 82 of Norvelt, passed away, Wednesday July 6, 2022. Born, December 26, 1939, he was a son of the late Alexander and Rachael (Miller) Barnhart. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol (Wilson) Barnhart, an infant baby boy, sister, Jean Freeman and brother Robert Barnhart. Ronald was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Armbrust Veterans association. He belonged to the Appalachian Wagon Train Association and was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Region Automobile Club of America. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Norma (Eicher), three children, Scott Barnhart and companion, Carole, Lynn (Jeff) Pomarico and Kelly Geyer; four grandchildren, Brett Hutira, Alexander Pomarico, Elizabeth Pomarico, and Anthony Geyer. He also will be dearly missed by Ginger, his Jack Russell. Family and Friends will be received in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M, Thursday July 14, 2022. Ronalds Funeral Service will be 11 A.M Friday, July 15, 2022, in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, with Rev.Jason Schweinberg Officiating.Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger. Military Rites Accorded by, Armbrust Veterans Association.
