John Jacob Weibel III, 81, of Hunker, passed away, Friday, July 22, 2022, at home. He was born June 14,1941,in Mt. Pleasant,to the late John JacobbWeibel II and Irene (Miller) Weibel. John served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a self employed painter, and a member of VFW Post 33, Greensburg; American Legion Post 981, South Greensburg; Amvets Post 94, United;Hecla Sportsmen's Club; Hecla Firemen’s Club, Hempfield Hunt Club. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Debra (Keilbach) Weibel; two sons, John F.
(Jackelyn) Weibel, and Jeff (Jana) Weibel; two grandchildren, Christopher and Erin Weibel; and his dog Betsy Ross. Family and friends will be received
from 1-6 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the Jay A.Hoffer Funeral Home, 2245 MtPleasantRoad,Norvelt, PA 15674, where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor David L.Greer officiating. Military honors will be accorded by VFW Post 33, of Greensburg, following the funeral service at in the funeral home. Interment will be private. To send condolences, please visit
