Obituary of Robert C Nagle

Robert C.Nagle,76,of Mt. Pleasant,passed away Wednesday, August 3,2022,at Select Specialty Hospital-Laurel Highlands.He was born September 25,1945,in Redbank, NJ to the late Macolm Nagle and Theophane (Miller) Nagle.Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.He was a retired Quality Engineer for Kennametal with 23 years of service.Robert was a member of Forty Martyrs Church of 30 years and when it closed became a member of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, Whitney.He was also a member of the AMVETS and the American Legion .He enjoyed traveling;collecting firearms,working on cars and fishing.He was known for his great sense of humor.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers,Irv Nagle,Bill Nagle and Bruce Nagle.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dolores J.“Dottie”(Cipriani)Nagle; two children,Barbara Nagle Eichhorn (Judson)and Winifred Nagle Sinkovits(David);two grandchildren,Sarah Eichhorn and Noah Eichhorn;two sisters,Linda Nagle Warner(Chuck)and Mary Ann Nagle Fiashetti;two sisters-in-law,Mary Nagle and Judy Nagle as well as several nieces and nephews.Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674.His funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday,August 10, 2022 at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church,at 11:00 AM with Fr.James F. Podlesny,O.S.B. Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forty Martyrs Cemetery,Trauger. Military Rights will be Accorded at the graveside by The Armbrust Veterans Association.
