Philip H.Kistler,72, of Norvelt,passed away Wednesday, Oct.19,2022,at home.He was born April 8,1950, in Greensburg,to the late Charles Philip Kistler and Mary (Primozic) Kistler.He served his country in the Navy on the U.S.S. New.He was a retired machinist,having worked for Leese and Co.Inc.In addition to his parents Philip was preceded in death by a half-sister,Jane Sciotti and her husband, Dominic Sciotti.He is survived by his wife of 42 years,Dana (Dodds) Kistler;two children, Lindsay (Jason) Kistler Mattock and Jared (Becca) Kistler;three grandchildren,Abram Philip Kistler,Joshua Matthew Kistler and Rosa Angeline Kistler; and his sister,Sandra (Michael) Kistler Connolly. As per his wishes,there will be no public visitations. Philip's family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. George Hunter,Dr. R.K. Reddy,Dr. Matthew Panahandeh, Dr.S. Arora,the Pacer Clinic and their staffs; Drs. Sung,Ward, Moss, and Kassir and the staff of DCI,Mt. Pleasant;and Excela Health Hospice.In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation,or one's favorite charity.To send condolences, please visit www.HofferFuneralHome.com.
