Obituary of Norma Barnhart

Norma (Eicher) Barnhart,76,of Norvelt, passed away Monday,October,31,2022,at home.She was born Sept.24,1946,in Trauger,to the late Jack Szallers and Ella Mae(Eicher)Barkley.She was a member of the last graduating class of Hurst High School.She was a homemaker and liked to bake,complete word search puzzles and hang out with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents,Norma was preceded in death by her husband Ronald in July 2022;a brother,Henry Barkley;and her maternal grandparents,Wade and Matilda Eicher.She is survived by three children,Scott Barnhart and companion,Carole,Lynn(Jeff) Pomarico and Kelly Geyer;four grandchildren,Brett Hutira,Alexander and Elizabeth Pomarico,and Anthony Geyer.She is also survived by siblings,Don,Harry James,David,Mark,Merle,Gloria,Kathy, Patty,Diane,Christine and Gary;as well as numerous nieces,nephews and cousins;She also will be dearly missed by Ginger,her Jack Russell.Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.Monday, Nov.7,2022, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME,2245 Mt.
