Obituary of Betty Lou Domasky

Betty Lou (Knapp) Domasky, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at The Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh. She was born Jun. 1, 1932, to the late Chester A. and Lenna Mae (Thomas) Knapp. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino, scratch-off tickets, traveling and she also had a special love of dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert E. Domasky in 2018; six siblings, Benjamin, Robert, Kenny, Doris, Jean, and Donald. Betty is survived by her loving children, Bonnie Bradley, Betty Lou (George) Tetteris, Benson (Rosemary) Domasky, Bill (Alberta) Domasky, and Burt (Amy) Domasky. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; daughters, Beverly and Barbara; two sisters, Shirley Jenkins and Joanne Close; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt.
