Glenda M. (Johnson) Thomas, 70, a resident of William Penn Care Center of Export (formerly of Greensburg), passed away Friday, Mar. 17, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Greensburg, to the late David and Betty (McCordy) Klipa. Glenda was a retired warehouse worker for the Dick's distribution center. She was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Thomas. She is survived by three children, John Smith (Chris), James Smith (Joy) and Tammy Presock (Ken); seven grandchildren, Michele (Travis), Lindsey, Jimmy, Amanda, Issac, Josh (Alicia), Tabitha (Sebastian); nine great grandchildren; a brother, Eric Klipa; an aunt, Patricia Gregory. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 22, 2023, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Criss Crider officiating. Interment to follow. www.HofferFuneralHome.com.
