Obituary of Terrence Laick

Terrence "Terry" Laick, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born March 27, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, to the late Aloysius and Anna Mae (Rudy) Laick. He was retired following 30 years of service as an assembly tester for Elliott Company. He was a member of St. Pius X Church, Mt. Pleasant, the United Slovak Club, a lifetime member of Hecla Sportsmen’s Club and Calumet Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in law, Paul Kostyo; and a brother-in-law, Paul Kostyo Jr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Kimberly A. (Kostyo) Laick; a daughter, Jennifer (Lee) Hodge; a granddaughter and the joy of his life, Ava Hodge; a brother, Tom (Donna) Laick; his mother-in-law, Patricia Kostyo; a brother-in-law, James (Tammy) Kostyo; two sisters-in-law, Kathy (Don) Clark and Carol Kostyo; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and Friends are welcome to attend Terry’s funeral liturgy that will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 12 noon at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674, with Fr. Daniel E. Carr as celebrant. Private interment will follow in Forty Martyrs Cemetery, Trauger.
