Obituary of Dennis William Aukerman Sr.

Dennis William Aukerman Sr., 52, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at home. He was born Nov. 30, 1970, in Latrobe, the son of the late Earl and Helen (Cramer) Aukerman. He was a self-employed mechanic and had previously worked for Capricorn Powertrain for 28 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Aukerman; a brother-in-law, Larry McBryar; mother-in-law, Dorothy McBryar and his father-in-law, Larry McBryar Sr. Dennis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Traci (McBryar ) Aukerman; sons, Jesse McBryar (Jaime), Matthew McBryar and Dennis Aukerman Jr. (Mallory); eight grandchildren, Damon, Josalynn, Danyelle, Ryley, Grayson, Jameson, Chase, Rachel; brothers, Earl Aukerman Jr. (Diane) and Larry Piper (Nora), a sister, Dolores "Sis" Lehman (Rick); brother-in-law, Dale McBryar (Dee); sister-in-law, MaryBeth Davenport (Kevin); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Lori and Greg Cesario. Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 18, 2023, in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674.
