Obituary of Mitch Levendusky

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mitchell “Mitch” Levendusky. Mitch passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 63. Mitch was born to Daniel and Carrie Levendusky on November 15, 1960 in Mount Pleasant. Mitch graduated from Mount Pleasant Area High School. Mitch furthered his education in trade school attaining the title of Master Machinist. Mitch’s career as a machinist was marked by his innovative work in designing and creating precision products for Stryker Corporation. In 1986 Mitch and the love of his life Debbie relocated to Harpers Ferry, WV where he and Debbie built a lifetime of memories and love along with their 2 devoted pets Otis and Diesel. Mitch was an avid outdoors man that loved hunting, and fishing with many trophies of his accomplishments. Mitch was also a person that would take the time out of his busy day to help someone. Predeceased by his father, Daniel and infant sister Karen, Mitch leaves a legacy of love, laughter and good memories. Mitch is survived by the love of his life Debbie, mother Carrie, and siblings Deborah, Stephen, Alan, Kimberly, Michael, Kristen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to honor Mitch’s life will be held at Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 4pm – 8pm, where a Blessing Service will be held by Fr. Paul Lisik in the funeral home on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 12pm. Interment will be private.
