Obituary of L. Stanley "Stan" Wall

L. Stanley "Stan" Wall, 76, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born September 30, 1938 in East Liberty, he was the son of the late Stanley and Agnes (Ballas) Wall. Stan was a graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, and was a member of the Community Church of Hecla, where he was a Lay Minister. He was the owner and C.E.O of Wall Group Media which published radio broadcasts on WQTW Latrobe and WLSW Connellsville. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon (Booher) Wall, and two sons; Michael S. Wall of Greensburg, and Jeffrey A. (Linda) Wall of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Shari Singletary Gordon of Charlotte, NC, step-daughter, Christina Caruso of St. Petersburg, FL, Grandchildren; Justin, Marissa, Amanda Wall, Zoohey Deline, Brandon Wall, Christina Wall Sparks, Morgan and Ali Singletary, two great grandchildren, Paetyn and Aubree Wall, and nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received 7-9 PM Friday, 5-9 pm Saturday, and 5-9 PM Sunday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME 2245 MT. PLEASANT RD., NORVELT, 15674. A visitation will also be 9-10 AM Monday in The Community Church of Hecla, where his service will begin at 10 AM, with Rev. Dr. Dale E. Porterfield, celebrant. Please go directly to the church. Interment to follow at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
